Sand Blasting
Sand blasting is another service Peninsula Custom Coaters, Inc. offers:
On occasions, an individual or an industry has items they need sand blasted but not powder coated. We are here to provide that service too.
Peninsula Custom Coaters has at their facility two sand blast cabinets and a
sand blast room. The largest cabinet has an inside dimension 8’ x 20’ long.
Most items can be completely blasted before being removed from the cabinet making
us very competitive on this type of blasting. For items that can't be blasted
in the cabinets, we have a blast room that will handle items up to 8'
Peninsula Custom Coaters uses aluminum oxide as the media to do most of their blasting jobs. Aluminum oxide does a quick removal of old paints and rust and is safe to use. We also offer a glass bead media for the more decorative blast requirements and a plastic media for the use on items that cannot be blasted to aggressively, and is very good to remove old powder coatings.
